New York Times Reviewer JON CARAMANICA published a wonderful review of Jason today. Now the New York Times is usually rather 'unkind' to AI artists but not to Mr Jason Castro nosireebob ....

"Earlier this month he released “The Love Uncompromised EP” (Atlantic), a prelude to a full album this spring, and it’s among the most sure-footed records, debut or otherwise, by an “Idol” contestant from any season"

01022010 A resounding congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Jason Rene Castro. How many of us are lucky enough to marry our first love. Jason's music has been waxing poetic for his beautiful muse since we first heard the beginning of "someday"...well their 'someday' was yesterday!

The pictures we have seen are wonderous even one of Jason 'dork dancing' and my favorite is the one of them leaving the reception with sparklers how romantical. We've been holding a 'virtual reception' on the forum complete with pictures and toasts so iff'n you wanna be a bit voyueristic go have some funnn. It's under chatter...and thank you to all who tweeted the pictures and made them public! You made a bunch of Dreadies happy ladies!

We had the most amazing time at the House of Blues in Orlando Saturday night. Jason performed like I had never seen him and left everything on stage. Seriously It Matters To Me was jaw dropping! Thanx to Poisnivy I've posted the video for you to enjoy...look at the hand gestures, the mic grap the raw emotion he brought to it. Seeing him perform this live was simply amazing and never to be forgot!

 He made it out to the merch table after his performance and appeared exhausted. That young man needs to take his cute little tushy home and relax with friends and family. He has given so much to us over the past year he needs to take some time for himself and those closest to him...from my heart to yours Jason have a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year *wink* (we are getting that cd right?? haha)

Tomorrow night Jason Castro will be playing the House of Blues in Orlando with Kris Allen, Leona Lewis and the Fray. Many Dreadheads will be going and many more won't. So what are we goin to do about that? Well I'll tell ya! We will be doing a LiVeFeeD aka cellcert! Kali will be at the show so she will be 'feeding' JC4eva and the Dreadheads at our blogtv channel LINK It should start 7:30ish eastern! Have fun that's what it's all about really!

Well Dreadheads, Ya'll know Jason is performing at the Domain Treelighting Ceremony in the Tx State Capitol of Austin....some of you have read on the forum that we will be doing a LiVeFeeD of the show on our Blogtv Channel thanx to Ms Starlight and/or Ms Darlin! What better way to welcome the holiday season than Jason Castro singing Christmas caroles? I can only think of one and that's Mr. Jason Castro singing Christmas caroles while his Dreadheads listen and Gab in the chatroom! Seriously what did we do before the interwebs? hmmmm I can't remember? oh yeah housework...naw that's not it?

AAH! this is one happy happy Dreadhead. As most of you are well aware, if you pre-ordered Jason's CD on JasonCastroMusic you recieved a gratis download yesterday of Sweet Medicine. Word on the forum is that it is "hauntingly beautiful" and "smooth". Some are happy that there is "less cheese" than Let's Just Fall In Love Again, and some are still looking for a more "raw" "stripped down"(hehe that makes me snork)sound. All do agree that it was a great treat from Jason to his fans. Hey Jason, EVERYONE wants to know why you changed the lyrics? What happened to "dancing beneath the sheets"? For some reason Dreadheads floved that line!

Well Castro Fans...it's almost time for another year of American Idol! Yes the show that brought us Jason on s-7 is now bringing us some Michael on s-9!
